Halo 5 Guardians

After weeks and months of speculation and rumors, Warzone Firefight has finally arrived to Halo 5: Guardians. In line with this release, and in order to celebrate the occasion, Halo 5: Guardians is also now free to play until July 5th. The eight content pack is the latest release to date, and brings three new maps, two new armors, the Halo 2 Beam rifle, customization options, and more.

In case you missed it, you can check out our full post on Warzone Firefight for the complete details on what to expect from today’s content drop. The content, though, features a multiplayer Player versus Environment (PvE) combat mode where players fight together to overcome increasingly difficult challenges. As we have reported, what makes this different from other Halo PvE multiplayer game modes is that Warzone Firefight is meant to take advantage of the tremendous scale and huge maps of Halo 5 Warzones.
