Windows Ambience wants to add soundscapes to the Windows 10 Taskbar

Sometimes when you’re focused on entering data into a spreadsheet or typing up documents in Microsoft Word, a little ambient music can help increase your productivity.  If this is what you’re after, then you might want to pay close attention to Can Aslan‘s “Windows Ambience” idea for Windows 10.

Although it is entirely an abstract idea, Windows Ambience is a Windows 10 concept which would enable users to listen to various ambient soundscapes. According to the website for the concept, Windows Ambience would be available in the sound icon on the taskbar, and would allow you to “double down on your productivity with exclusively crafted soundscapes by Microsoft.” Ambient sounds from a wind farm, the Microsoft Redmond Campus, the International Space Station, a thunderstorm, forest, and rain shower, would all be included, and would be able to be selected directly from a drop up menu from the taskbar.
