Over the weekend, a rumor began circulating around the internet about the imminent launch of Windows 10 for Phones Preview. The rumor claimed that on February 4th, we would see the preview. This rumor was based on some random unconfirmed tip. Microsoft’s Gabe Aul has responded to this claim, stating that it is just a huge rumor.
However, the first preview of Windows 10 mobile is indeed expected this month for those who are enrolled in the Windows Insider Program. Microsoft is still working on it, but don’t expect to see it on the 4th. The first preview of Windows 10 mobile is said to work on both Windows Phone devices as well as smaller Intel and ARM based tablets. We’ll have more on this as it develops.
