Windows 10 build 10130: Find an app faster on the Start Menu with a familiar method

With Windows Phone, you can easily find the app you need thanks to the alphabetical app grouping feature. This feature allows you to arrange all your apps by letters or numbers. With the latest public build of Windows 10 (build 10130), users can now do the same thing on the Start Menu, adding a familiar interface that Windows Phone users are accustomed to.

For example, let’s say you want to quickly find the Tweetium app on Windows 10, all you have to do is tap on the letter “T.” As you can see from the photo above, this feature is quite neat for those who tend to install numerous apps and would rather narrow down their search by tapping or clicking on the first letter of their app. You can always open up Cortana and just type or say the app you want — this is a much faster method to find or open an app.
