Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile operating system is available on newly released devices, but there’s no word about its availability for older devices running Windows Phone 8.1. We’ve seen a handful of rumors about the roll out of Windows 10 Mobile for existing devices, but it never happened.

According to a new report from WindowsBlogItalia, Microsoft may kick off the Windows 10 Mobile roll out from March 17th for a bunch of existing devices. The list mentioned include Lumia 1520, 930, 830, 640, 640 XL, 638 ,636 and 535.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Vodafone Italy would start the roll out from March 7th, but we didn’t hear any report of the roll out in the European country. So, it’s advised to take this rumor with a grain of salt as there’s no official word from Microsoft about the exact availability dates for existing devices. We’ll update you as soon as we get to hear anything more so stay tuned to WinBeta.
