Microsoft pushes NFL with tips on how to follow on Cortana, Outlook, new NFL on Xbox ad

Earlier today, Microsoft revealed that Bing Predicts would once again be prognosticating on the upcoming NFL season. The NFL theme is apparently continuing at the Redmond-based company, and Microsoft has just published a new NFL on Xbox ad along with a few more ways to celebrate the start of the season.

In the new ad, NFL Superstars Russel Wilson, Antonio Brown, and Von Miller work on their “people skills” and play Madden alongside the Xbox live community. The results are, to say the least, very hilarious.

On the other hand, in a separate NFL-themed post to the Windows Experience Blog, the Redmond company revisited its series of NFL Type Covers, which is available in flavors of all 32 teams. Additionally, the same post also highlights how the Cortana Notebook can be used to track your favorite NFL Team to get notifications on score updates, upcoming games, and even the final score.

Of course, the Windows Store is also included in the NFL fun, and Microsoft mentions that The Touchdown! Collection in the Windows Store will prepare you for the NFL with ways to watch the game. Last up is the fact that you can use the new

Last but not least, you can use the new Interesting Calendars feature for Outlook.com and Outlook on the web to add and sync your team’s schedule directly to your Outlook.com or Outlook on the web calendar. If you want to make sure your upcoming games are in your Outlook calendar, follow these simple directions in Outlook.com or the Office 365 calendar:

  1. Log in to Outlook on the web.
  2. View your calendar and then click Add calendar.
  3. Select Interesting calendar.
  4. Select Sports, the sport category and then your favorite team.
