Microsoft has released the latest Patch Tuesday updates, which brings a handful of security upgrades for Windows PCs. Almost all of the Windows versions have received the update which revolves mostly around security issues being fixed. Some of them affect all versions, while some are restricted to a few Window’s versions.

One of the most critical security issue is the remote code execution which can allow hackers to remotely install suspicious software on your computer if you visit an affected website or document online.

Microsoft has rated the update critical for all versions of Windows so it’s highly recommended that you should install it right away through Windows update. It also appears that Windows XP is also among the affected ones, but since Microsoft has discontinued updates for the the decade old operating system, it’s recommended that you should move to the latest Windows 10 if you want to stay protected.
