Microsoft agreed to a six-year deal with HP to use Dynamics CRM to handle HP’s daily marketing, sales, and service operations. In addition to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, HP will be utilizing Azure, Office 365, and other Microsoft Cloud services to deliver a smooth and more collaborative experience for HP’s growing number of enterprise customers and partners.

Jon Flaxman, chief operations officer (COO) at HP, sees the positive contribution that Dynamics CRM will bring to HP:

“We have chosen Microsoft Dynamics as our CRM solution for our direct selling, partners, and services. This brings us a cloud-based solution that delivers a more effective and efficient collaboration engine across our business.”

HP is looking to provide a better and more integrated sales experience for HP sales representatives (sales guide available here) and HP enterprise partners. Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Office 365 will help push HP’s sales, services, and marketing productivity to the next level. In addition, Power BI help give HP’s marketing department with some helpful insights and predictions. Microsoft Azure will also help HP’s IT organization to operate in a more robust, hybrid cloud environment.

Microsoft’s Judson Althoff, Worldwide Commercial Business executive vice president, sees how HP will benefit from using Microsoft’s services.

“HP continues to innovate in its customer engagement, with the tools and business processes it provides to its employees and partner community and, of course, the products and services it delivers. We share this dedication to digital transformation with HP and are incredibly proud to work with it as it delivers amazing technology experiences to people around the globe.”

In July 2016, Microsoft Dynamics 365 was introduced, offering CRM and ERP cloud solutions into one cloud service. In addition to Dynamics 365, Microsoft AppSource was announced, providing businesses a way to create apps to manage and perform daily business tasks. Microsoft offers businesses the chance to see what Dynamics 365 can offer them through two webcasts, registration is available here.
